Benefits of Group Classes

Our Membership includes Group Classes which you can enjoy once a day Monday - Saturday!

Training in a group setting will offer many advantages for individuals learning the art of boxing. 

Learning the sport of boxing has numerous health benefits that are not only good for your heart, but for the body, mind and soul as well. It builds your physical strength and creates endurance, balance, coordination and self control. During a typical work out session you will build your strength and confidence with traditional work out rounds which include punching rounds, into bags, mitts or the air ( shadowboxing). You will work in our group doing jump rope drills and other exercises to keep you moving.

Slow and Steady!

Learning a new sport is an exciting adventure, but it's essential to approach it with care. While it's tempting to dive in headfirst to keep pace with your classmates, remember that your body may be exploring unfamiliar movements. Take your time; there's no need to rush. Be kind to yourself, as pushing too hard can lead to injury. With patience, your strength and endurance will grow. If you start to feel tired or fatigued, don’t hesitate to take a break. We’re all here to support each other!

Wear the Right Gear

You might want to wear loose comfortable clothes, light weight shoes and proper gear for your hands. Wrapping your hands and wrists and wearing the right gloves and mitts will help keep you protected. Ask your trainer for recommendations based on your skill level.

Practice Good Form 

Boxing is FUN! Although we always want to have a good time, we want to make sure we practice good form! Injuries are no fun and can set you back for weeks or even months. So please be sure to always follow the instruction of your trainer. We understand how exciting it is to learn a new sport, expecially boxing, so be careful with your friends and family if showing them techniques at home. If friends and family are interested in your new loved sport, bring them along for a One Time day pass! They can see what your new found love is all about and sign up for a membership to receive all the same benefits as you.

If you plan on bringing someone along, please be sure to notify your instructor ahead of time! You will have a key for access as a member and are not allowed to bring non-members along without prior permission.
